What Clint says about Lee:

Lee’s genuine nature and easy smile are immediately endearing.  Lee has always impressed me with his ability to understand others and get at the heart of what makes people tick.  His passion for life and love for those around him is unwavering; he is one of the best people I know.  Lee keeps things in perspective and recognizes how important fun, laughter and personal connections are in life.  Aren absolutely loves Lee.  Whether they are reading, dancing or just horsing around, Lee is Aren’s hero, his knight in shining armor.  There is no doubt in my mind or heart that Lee is the kind of dad every kid wants.

The brothers three

After teaching high school, I went to Harvard Medical School, and now I work at San Francisco General Hospital in the Department of Psychiatry.  Much of my work is devoted to teaching medical students and residents.  I really like working with the patients that come to the county hospital, and I teach my students about the unique social challenges that face many of our patients.

Meet Lee

I was born in Charlottesville VA on May 3rd 1966.  I am the middle of three brothers, and we have always been very close.  When we were young, we used to spend hours playing in the creeks near our home, hunting for shark’s teeth.

After graduating from Stanford University, I taught high school for a year.  This was a fantastic experience.  I loved working with kids, and I tried to bring a lot of humor into the classroom.  I’ll be the first to admit that not all my students shared my enthusiasm for calculus, but they seemed to have fun.
